Penguins Win Six Event Titles, Fall to Niagara in Dual Meet
Niagara, Falls, N.Y. -- The Youngstown State swimming and diving team won six out of 16 events in a dual meet with Niagara on Friday night, but the Penguins lost the meet by a 170-130 mark at the Oxy Aquatics Center. Earning victories were Kirstin Walker, Nishani Cicilson, Cailin Cook, Casey Hill in both diving events and the 200 free relay team.

Results Cicilson, Hill Win Events Against Five-Time HL Champ Green Bay Sophomore Nishani Cicilson won the 50-yard freestyle and freshman Casey Hill earned a win in her first collegiate meet for the Youngstown State swimming and diving team on Friday night at the Beeghly Natatorium. Cicilson won the 50-yard free with a time of 25.06 seconds while Hill won the one-meter dive with a score of 246.17. Hill's score ranks as the fifth-best in school history.

Results Hill, Carpin Have Strong Performances at Clarion Diving Invite
Clarion, Pa. -- Youngstown State divers Amanda Carpin and Casey Hill had strong showing for the Penguins on Sunday morning at the Clarion Diving Invitational at Tippin Natatorium. Hill led the way with a third-place finish in the one meter, while Carpin was second in the three meter.
Release Guins Get Set to Host Five-Time Defending HL Champ Green Bay
The Youngstown State swimming and diving team opens the dual meet portion of its season against five-time defending Horizon League Champion Green Bay on Friday at the Beeghly Natatorium. The event is scheduled to start at 5 p.m. This is the first meet at the Beeghly Natatorium between the two schools since October 2007.
